Yes, there is a certificate verification in JoSAA in the first round wherein you need to submit the required documents. Check for JoSAA website to know the required documents.

Sorry, but your rank is too high at 170 marks in JEE paper -2
because 300+ marks are usually considered for admission in B.Arch for NITs.
Your OBC quota won't help you to get into any of the NITs
so you should try for other private colleges.

300+ marks are considered for admission in NITs for B.Arch through JEE Mains paper-2.
So try to secure at least 350 marks to get B.Arch in the top NITs. Best of luck.

Sorry, but your rank is too high with 250 marks in JEE Mains paper 2.
300+ marks are considered for admission in B.Arch for NITs,There is no chance for NIT/IIIT or any government college.
So, you should try for any private college/university.
