The previous year category cutoff rank in NIT Surat was 19361 in Civil Engineering. While the AIR rank was 353269. So, the chances of getting NIT Surat are very low. Similar chances of getting IIIT Vadodara are also very low.

With a 90 percentile in JEE Mains and a 117489 rank, securing a seat in top NITs might be challenging, but you have a chance at newer or less sought-after NITs. Possible options include:
- NIT Mizoram
- NIT Arunachal Pradesh
- NIT Sikkim
- NIT Meghalaya
Admission chances also depend on the branch preference and category (general, OBC, SC/ST). These NITs offer good education and opportunities, even if they are newer. Participating actively in the JoSAA counseling process and considering state quota and category benefits can enhance your chances of admission.

NITs, which are also prestigious, place an emphasis on regional development and admit students through JEE Main. While both offer outstanding engineering education and possibilities, IITs typically have greater global recognition, superior facilities, and stron

With an EWS rank of 42670 and a CRL rank of around 2.67 Lakhs (approximately 81.90 percentile) in JEE Main, your chances of getting CSE branch at any NIT are moderate.
It's too difficult to get CSE fir 81.90 percentile . One has to have percentile of at least 98 incase of general category.
