To prepare yourself for NIT Agarpara you should take into consideration the following factors:

  • You need to hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.
  • You have to prepare well for entrance exams like GATE, PGET, CEE-AMPAI WB, and VOCLET for M.Tech admissions as the scores of these exams are required for admission.
  • Check the cutoff scores required in exams for M.Tech admissions and filling out the application form if you are eligible.

A GATE score of 85 percentile is usually considered good enough for securing admission to the MTech program at NIT Narula Institute of Technology, as the average cut-off ranges from 85 percentile to 90 percentile for MTech admissions depending on the branch you want. NIT Narula Institute of Technology accepts exams such as GATE, CEE AMPAI Masters, and WBUT PGET for admission to MTech.

Even though it could be difficult for you to acquire ECE at prestigious NITs with your CRL rank of 230788 and ST rank of 3226, you should look at the prior year's cutoffs for a more accurate view. During counselling, concentrate on making informed selections by taking into account your category rank as well as your overall rank. Look at branching out or attending other institutions where your ranks are more in line with the cutoff ranks from prior years.

With an OBC NCL rank of 59259 and an 88.23786 percentile in JEE Main, it can be difficult to get into highly competitive and cut-off branches like Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at prestigious National Institutes of Technology (NITs). Still, you may be able to get into some of the less competitive or newer NITs.

You can consider the mentioned NITs:

  • NIT Mizoram
  • NIT Nagaland
  • NIT Manipur
  • NIT Arunachal Pradesh
  • NIT Meghalaya
  • NIT Sikkim

With 93 percentile, your rank would be roughly around 95,000. Given your rank, securing admission into top-tier NITs might be challenging, but you have a good chance of getting into lower-ranked NITs such as those in Srinagar, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Agartala, Puducherry, and even NIT Jalandhar for textile engineering,  the expected rank for the 94 percentile is AIR 72,000 while that for the 95 percentile is AIR 60,000 the list of NIT'S and there respective branches at which admission are possible for a score between 94 to 95 percentile are provided here.
