Usually, the 80-90 Percentile in JEE Main 2023 is close to the 1,50,000 to 3,00,000 rank in JEE Main. That means a candidate with an 80-90 percentile in JEE Mains has a chance to get admission to NITs and IIITs for B.Tech courses.

No. Generally a candidate with rank less than 10000 can get a chance to take admission in NIT. As per new guidelines issued by them the candidates with rank greater than 70000 can also have chance to get admission.

It is very difficult to get NITs, because your percentile is not sufficient to get seat in NITs if your category is general or OBC.
