NIT Bhopal MCA Eligibility & Highlights 2024

MANIT or NIT Bhopal offers a three-year PG degree of MCA. This course is offered through the Department of Mathematics, Bioinformatics & Computer Applications. NIT Bhopal accepts admission to MCA through NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET), which is conducted annually by NITs for admission to MCA courses.

Eligibility: Graduate with a minimum 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA (55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ ST) in BSc/ BSc (Hons)/ BCA/ BIT with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent subject as one of the subjects

Best college for placements and knowledge.

Placements: My batch is 2024, and my course is civil engineering. In civil engineering, placement is moderate. The maximum package in civil engineering is 24 LPA. The percentage of placement is 70, and the remaining 30 students want to work in a core company, so in my course, placement is best.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the best in Bhopal, and Wi-Fi is also the best with high speed. Classrooms are the best, and a library is provided. Different labs are available in my courses. Hostel facilities are moderate, and food quality is the best. Hostel and mess fees are also moderate. Medical facilities are very good. Sports are also provided here. There is a sports complex, and different schemes are being held here.

Faculty: In Maulana Azad National Stock Technology, teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. All teachers are experienced in the field of study, and teaching quality is the best. They are also providing notes and books. Teachers also provide industry and industry information. Semester exams are more difficult.

Good campus life, but concerning placements.

Placements: Record low placements this year, only around 10-15% placed till now, around 18- 19 LPA is the highest till now and 8-9 LPA is the lowest, around 13 LPA being avg. The top recruitment companies are Texas, Adobe (PPO through summer intern), MSCI, and 4 students got summer internships in Adobe. The top roles being offered are SDE1, ML engineering and data analyst.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi in classroom and labs works fine (around 60mbps). Labs are in good condition, but mostly, we use our own laptops as the system over there is just not capable of handling the tasks. Okayish classrooms (no AC). Library is good, though timings are fixed 9-5. Hostel room is good enough, but the cleaning is an issue in the hostel, hostel food is below average. Sports facilities like football, badminton, TT, chess, kabaddi, basketball, volleyball and even a gym are available. Multiple canteens, but small ones, don't expect too much. Dispensary available for medical needs, free for all students.

Faculty: Most faculty members are at their best in their work and are helpful in all ways, including studies. The course curriculum is very relevant and according to industry needs only. Exams aren't difficult at all, just study in class carefully, you don't even need to study for it later, in our course, 95%-100% students pass.

Other: Whether the career is made or not, the experience is already made, a crazy experience.

This is the best college and good placements.

Placements: 85% of students got placed in our course. Top recruiting companies were Wipro, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra. Top roles offered were software developer and network engineer. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. 65% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: College had a good infrastructure. The classrooms look very beautiful with AC the labs were pretty good. Computer labs were good. We had a tennis court at our college. The classrooms were also facilitated with projectors. College will provide good hostel facilities for students with home made food. The canteen was also available. Wi-Fi was available.

Faculty: Faculty members were good and excellent. Teachers were well qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers here were helpful to students. They had good experience. They were very friendly. The course curriculum was relevant to the subject. The semester exams were difficult, and the passing percentage was 70%.

Best college for the MCA course.

Placements: The placement assistance at our college was excellent. They worked extremely well to support the placement of students. Almost all students in our course were placed. The highest package offered in our course was 24 LPA, and the average package was around 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Deloitte, Capgemini, Accenture, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course were excellent. Wi-Fi-enabled campus, digital classrooms, and a library with quality reference materials were available in the college. Facilities in the college hostel were also good. Sports ground was available on the campus.

Faculty: Professors were helpful and well-qualified. They were supportive and knowledgeable in their respective fields of study. The course curriculum was relevant and made students ready for industry jobs. The semester examinations of the college were a little tough.

My college experience always gives me happiness. All faculty members and infrastructure are great.

Placements: The placement cell of our college plays a particularly important role. They make all efforts for students so that they get jobs in good companies. More than 200 companies have our college. They give us offer letters for jobs. The highest salary is 85 LPA and the average salary is 15.6 LPA to 82 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college is very clean and well-equipped. Each classroom has advanced equipment that helps us in our studies. Apart from this, the library has many books of study material which play an important role during our exams. There are air-conditioned hostel rooms for students, large sports grounds, and common rooms.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are courteous and always keep in mind the welfare of the students. They can fulfill their duties. They help us a lot through various assignment projects extra curriculum etc. All the teachers here are highly educated and experienced.

Placements: The mid-level salary package offered to students selected in the placement process conducted by the college would be 4.1 LPA which was offered by the company Syntel. In 2024 drive, around 60 to 65 companies arrived on our campus, Among them, 52 companies arrived for MCA and engineering students.

Infrastructure: During leisure time, students were encouraged to do their interested activities like developing their skills, playing sports, or some other activities. Free Wi-Fi facilities are available all over the campus with protected passwords and user ID given to all students studying there.

Faculty: Maximum number of teachers appointed for all departments to avoid shortage during peak times. Students should obey teachers' order and their commands. Beyond studies, they monitor the disciplinary activities of students.
