Hello Karthik,
As per your marks, there are really low chances to get a good NIT. I think your rank will be around 1.5 lakhs-2.5 lakhs.
So even if you get admission in NIT it will not be a top one. You may get NIT-Agartala, Meghalaya, Sikkim, etc., they are not equal to top NITs like Trichy, Warangal, etc.
As the official cut-off ranks have not been released you may refer to the link below that gives you the closing and opening ranks for 2016 to check your possibility:
http://josaa.nic.in/Result2016/result/OpeningClosingRank.aspx
You have cleared JEE Mains so there are some chances for you to get admission in NIT.

Which board? If CBSE then your marks are low for IIT, NIT and IIIT. A minimum of 75% required for these for a CBSE board student.

Hello Naman,
If you belong to the general category then chances of getting any NITs are very slim for you. However, you will get good branches in LNMIIT and JIIT-Noida.To get more insights check here:

NIT, Kurukshetra is a better option for MBA as compared to LPU as it has good placement assistance for MBA.

Hello chithkala,
Yes, you might get some NITs. But, you cannot get a good course and a good NIT. You may get NIT Srinagar, Mizoram, Tripura, Manipur etc. They are not better than top NITs, but if you can go and study there, then you can have a brand name of NITs.
I'm not sure about their placements and education, but I'm sure the education will be better. They don't come in any sort of national rankings. These NITs will be in the last 20 NITs.
