Hello Bhukya Nithin, with just a percentile of about 37 as cut off for the students belonging to the category of scheduled Tribes yourself scoring a percentile of about 72 is indeed and excellent situation. I am sure that with this percentile and particularly from your category you will get seat in the desired branch and the desired NIT. Hello Krishna Agarwal, firstly I must congratulation for scoring so well in JEE Mains examination and obtaining rank of about 22000. Even though you have not mentioned your percentile which is the main criteria these days for deciding the cut off as announced by National testing agency, I am sure that you have scored more than the required percentile. The cutoff ranks for NITs change every year based on various factors like the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, etc. Hence, it is difficult to predict with certainty whether you can get a seat in an NIT with your OBC NCL rank of 21790 and your home state of Uttar Pradesh. Hello Garg Telco, your ranking in EWS category is just about 9000 while your category in the main list is above 55000. This is quite good and I am sure that with this ranking you are bound to get admission in your desired branch and desired NIT. The cut-off marks for admission to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) vary every year and are dependent on various factors such as the number of candidates applying, difficulty level of the exam, and availability of seats. It also depends on your engineering branch. Closing cut off for NIT Delhi is around 36000 - 40000.

Based on your JEE Main CRL rank of 68250 and category as OBC, it may be a little difficult to secure a seat in Electronics and Communication Engineering (EC) branch at NITs or IIITM. However, you still have a chance to get admission to some of the NITs and IIITM, especially if you belong to the home state of Madhya Pradesh.
