You got a decent score. You will get top 10 NITs. Please provide your rank for the best suggestions. By the way, you will easily get into a good NIT. Thapar University and IIIT-Bangalore are also a very good option at this score.

Hello Sandeep,
The admission to all NITs is based on your score and all India rank in JEE Mains examination. So, if you have appeared for JEE Mains exam then mention your score, category and rank.
All the best.

Hello Keshav,
As per your marks, your chances are very slim to get NITs and good govt. colleges. Try for private colleges.
All the best.

Hello Aditya,
It will not affect. But why gap of two years? Even in one year, you can become master of the syllabus. Your academic record will surely be scrutinised and you should have answers for your breaks. That's all.

Absolutely, there will be good future if you study in NIT but for job opportunities, you should try abroad for better salary packages. You can get nice salary packages in North India.

Not at all. There are students from various fields like commerce, arts, medical, as well as Non-IIT's and Non-NIT's.

Hi Ibrahim,
The official cut-off marks for this year (2017) has not been released. So you may refer to the link below which gives the opening and closing ranks for the year 2016:
http://josaa.nic.in/Result2016/result/OpeningClosingRank.aspx
This year, the cut-offs have gone down so that there are many chances for a person with a mark above 100 to easily get an NIT.
The closing and opening ranks vary each year. It will not be a constant.
All the best.

Maybe, may not be. If you belong to the SC/ST category then you will get it. You will get integrated B.Sc-M.Sc if you are from general category. NIT, Patna, Agartala and NIT-Rourkela provide this course.
Hope it helped.
All the best.
