Yes, you will definitely get admission into NIT/IIIT because admissions are given upto 25000 SC rank holders. So, no need to worry, choose your home state NIT.
Go for counselling.

There may be a difference of 5k rank but not more than that. It's only because seats in IIT, BITS, etc. increase every year a bit.

If you want to get good NITs, you must score atleast 230-240 and with this score, you can take any core branch which you want and your rank should be within 5000 so that there will be no problem. I hope you will like the answer. All the very best!

I think you will get it. Wait till the spot round counselling. Fill the appropriate choices while filling counselling form. You may try state level counselling as well.

Getting a NIT is only possible when you belong to SC or ST but otherwise, it is not possible. But, you can easily get admission in private colleges and can try for government colleges. Or, you can drop for preparation of IIT and can get even IIT college.
