With your marks, you can get into NIT only if you have both home state quota and SC/ST reservations and that also not in top NIT's. I would suggest you go for some good local college.

Even ranks in SC categories have turned better so its best to move on. moreover you may try in nit Mizoram, Nagaland or So, there's chance there.

I don't think that you will be getting NIT. Your chances are nil. You should try for any private institute considering JEE Mains result.

You need to have 20,000 -25,000 minimum rank to apply to any NIT.
