There is only 10575 seats in IIT only top candidate will be able to get admit in IIT.

I'll tell you the outline of the procedure to get admission here. You will have to sign up for CSAB and fill in your priorities of stream and college in there. Then the results of CSAB will be announced round by round, like first round 1 then round 2 and so on, till 4 rounds. Then there will be a spot round after the 4th round. If you are eligible for a seat in any one of your preferred choice, you will have a chance to lock the seat by paying some money. If you fill NIT Hamirpur as a high preference in your CSAB, and you are sure that you'll get admission here based upon your rank, you'll get a seat in CSAB. Once you lock the seat the
