Hello Aditya,
You are seeking admission to the most sought after branch but you have obtained 43 out of 360 marks. Do you see the contradiction? I am afraid that with such a low score, you will not get admission in any branch.
But don't loose hope. Analyse as to what went wrong. Prepare again with confidence and score good marks.

Hello Venkat,
These days, OBC students are scoring quite well in competitive exams and hence it would be tough to get admission with low scores. However, you may get admission in an unfancied branch in one of the NITs.

Placements do not depend on your 10th and 12th performance. They depend on your 4 year's performance in B.Tech, your knowledge and the number of projects you actively participated in.

Hello Renu,
Packages offered at different NIT's vary widely depending on branch, place, etc. It also varies depending on the economy of the country.
If you are about to join, just don't worry. What happens after four years nobody can predict.
Average package offered in NIT'S was about 5-8 Lacs.

The last year cutoff for OBC category was 70 Marks but this year, JEE Mains has not released any cutoff as of now. So, wait for the cutoff and if you want to take admission in a good NIT, you have to score more than 140 in JEE Mains.
All the best.
