Devoting one full year for competitive exam preparation has its own merits and demerits. Dropping a year means that you will get sufficient amount of time to prepare for competitive exams. It would be difficult to get NSIT or NIT with this score but you can apply for other good colleges like Thapar University, UPES Banglore, UPES Dehradun & UTM Shillong . You can check out these institutes and apply for admission.
