National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy) offers a two-year MBA course at the PG level. Aspirants get admitted based on a valid Common Admission Test (CAT) score. Apart from this, candidates currently in the final year of the UG course and having cleared CAT are also eligible to apply. To be eligible, candidates must have passed Undergraduate Degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 60% from recognised university. The CAT cut off 2023 for General All India category was 80 percentile. The cutoff for the past few years 2022, 2021 and 2020 have remained the same with 80 percentile. 

IIT Dhanbad offers a four-year BTech degree course in Computer Science & Engineering. Admission to the four-year course is entrance-based. It is also one of the top BTech branches. MCA programme offered for three years at NIT Trichy. The institute's Department of Computer Applications is in charge of instructing this subject.
