Everything is excellent, but there are more students from Tamil Nadu.

Placements: There are 90% placements in my branch, and it is a better option than non-circuital branches. We can also go for software jobs and core jobs. But there are some lecturers who don't listen to our demands at all, but everything is fine with our college.

Infrastructure: The hostels are a little old, but they're good. Hostel allotment is also very good, and we can also interact with seniors easily, and it's very fun. Bathrooms are common for everyone, and per room, there are 3 people, and after the 2nd year, we have 2 people per room.

Faculty: The course curriculum is very good.

Other: It's an 850-acre campus, so it's sufficient to enjoy ourselves.

My college is best for exploring new things. There are many clubs based on your interest.

Placements: 96% of students got placed in my branch. Top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Rubrix, Nvidia, Texas, and many others. The internship percentage is not that good in my course but some of them get internships. The highest package of my course is 52 LPA, and the lowest is 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: Library is there which has more than 1 lakh books. Classrooms also have decent infrastructure. Wi-Fi is also there in every room of hostel. The food available for North Indian in your college is not up to the mark but for South Indian is good.

Faculty: Faculty members of your department are not nice but you study your own. The curriculum is also not that much tough, you can easily score marks. Odd semester exams are tough. There is online one fest in our college. This course is related to the industry.

Only good education; infrastructure and facilities are bad.

Placements: We have a placement percentage of 98%, and the highest and lowest packages offered in our course are 80 Lacs and 4 Lacs. The average package is somewhere around 18 Lacs. Recruiting companies like Google and Microsoft come for placements. Currently, 30 percent of the students have gotten an internship.

Infrastructure: The hostels provide Wi-Fi and 24/7 electricity and water. Although the Wi-Fi could be better, it totally depends on which room you are in. The mess food is decent, and the sports facilities are good. The only problem is most of the teams don't have a proper coach. The classrooms are big and spacious.

Faculty: The faculty are well-educated and qualified. The professors can be more understanding. The curriculum plan is very good and efficient. The semester exams are of average difficulty, with a pass percentage of 35%, and there’s also a 75% attendance requirement for all classes.

My college life in NIT Trichy.

Placements: 90% of students are placed. The highest package offered is INR 55 lpa, the lowest is INR 12 lpa, and the average is INR 30 lpa. Amazon, Microsoft, Uber, etc. are the top recruiting companies. 30% got internships at Microsoft, IBM, etc. A maximum of all students will be placed on campus, and some students who wish to continue their education will decline their placements.

Infrastructure: Facilities are okay, not bad. Our college's facilities are of good quality, and the mess food is delicious, as are the medical facilities, sports facilities, and games. There are so many tournaments conducted in our college, like sports fest, etc. And our college will go to so many tournaments like INTER NIT, SPARDA, etc.

Faculty: Teachers have great knowledge, and they are very helpful and encouraging for the students, not only in academics but also in general. And they will motivate us if we get lower marks in exams or class tests. They will clarify any doubts students have, and they will work on so many projects with students.

Other: NIT Trichy is a nice place to freak out and to enjoy the fests. All of our friends get more involved during that time, not only friends but also seniors and juniors.

Overall, the college experience is good.

Placements: 95% of people will get placed after our course. The average package is about INR 10–12 lacs per annum. When it comes to core placements, a smaller number of companies will come. We can also get placed in other domains like software, analytics, and electronics at various companies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is totally good. The Wi-Fi facility is a little bit hesitant. We can get good library facilities with a good ambiance for peaceful study. Food is also good. If we are interested in sports, we can easily explore them. We have a hospital to check out our basic health conditions. If the condition is severe, we can move to the town hospital.

Faculty: Qualified and experienced professors will come to us. Some are friendly, and some professors are a little bit strict. If we study well, we can easily clear exams. It is not that tough. The course curriculum includes all instrumentation and some electronics.

Other: There are so many fests in our college. Each week, we have at least one event. We have so many clubs to develop our passions, like music, dance, and sports. We have tech clubs to develop ourselves in various fields like robotics, software, entrepreneurship, etc. We can get our college alumni scholarship and some other government scholarships.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: More than 80% of students got placed till now and placement drives are continued till May. The highest salary package offered by AWS was 53 LPA, the lowest salary package was 6 LPA, and the average salary package was 14 LPA to 15 LPA. Many big companies like Google, Uber, Microsoft, Oracle, and Wells Fargo offer placements. Companies recruit students for various domains like software, analytics, core, data science, and management. It is a top NIT with very good placements.

Infrastructure: Departments and hostels are old but have all the required amenities. Hostels lack ethernet cable connection and have old Wi-Fi routers that provide low-speed internet. There are 7 to 8 different messes for students that offer North and South Indian food items and can change mess every month. Taste and quality of the food served are good. Campus has a hospital where students can consult a doctor and get medicines for free. It has all the sports facilities.

Faculty: All the faculty members in our college have very good knowledge of the subject but some are very strict. The course curriculum is good and offers a minor degree in different branches for interested students. Exams are not tough and students can score marks easily by attending all the classes. Minimum of 65% of attendance is required to attend the end-semester examinations.

Other: I chose this course because it is a circuital branch that has openings to all companies compared to non-circuital branches. Festember is a cultural fest and Pragyan a technical fest are the 2 big fests organised in our college. Sportsfest is held where all the branches compete in sports and NITTfest is an inter-departmental competition.

It Is a pretty good college for students.

Placements: Maximum percent of us were most likely to be placed. The highest salary package is around 40 to 50 LPA, and the lowest is around 5 -6 LPA. Top recruits are from Microsoft, Texas, P&G, Gulf, Reliance Industries, Tata, etc. Around 65-70% of students were able to get interns from on and of campus, and the remaining are undergoing research side under professors of IITs and NITs.

Infrastructure: Our labs are pretty good and are even getting improved day by day.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and good. Our semester and curriculum are sufficient to sit for a placement or for the ones looking into higher studies. The course curriculum is completely relevant to what it has to be, and lectures are crystal clear than NPTEL. Our staff is both friendly and strict and maintain a good standard of lectures and keeps us involved in them. They even build a student-teacher interface or an atmosphere in class.

Other: Events, fest, and connectivity can be graded as 9/10. It has a student-friendly environment and even the plantation. They have a good crowd. The food served is up to the mark.

Placements and infrastructure of the college were good. Faculty members are up to the mark.

Placements: NIT Trichy achieved 100% placements in 2016. The average salary package offered was around 5-6 LPA. The highest salary package offered for the students of the instrumentation and control engineering department was around 26 LPA. Major recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Fidelity, JP Morgan, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Morgan Stanely, Accenture, Visa, Flipkart, Reliance, and Tata Motors, etc., visited the campus for placements.

Infrastructure: Classrooms were well furnished, and they were equipped with galleries and projectors. The entire campus was enabled with high-speed Wi-FI, and the Wi-Fi facility is also available in hostels. The college has an indoor and outdoor auditorium. Both the indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available here. The library had an ample collection of books along with a digital library which was available inside the campus. Labs were average. However, they were spacious. The canteen was also spacious, and it offers good quality food. Cafe Coffee Day was available inside the campus. Departments are very far from one another, so we have to use a bicycle to commute. A hospital is also available on the campus.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members in the college were experienced. Teaching was done using PPTs, and the classroom sessions were very interactive. Industrial visits are also organised, and some industry experts visit the campus to conduct seminars. Almost 10 dedicated faculty members were available for our department. Every year students follow the same course structure which will be updated periodically.

Other: Every year, a cultural fest named Festember and a technical fest named Pragyan are conducted in NIT Trichy. The campus was well connected by roadways, railways, and Trichy International Airport.
