Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology has majorly received positive reviews from the students. The institute provides placement and internship assistance to the students. The college has a good infrastructure and faculty members. The BE CSE programme at NMIT Bangalore has a batch intake of 240 students. The course curriculum is updated from time to time according to the Industrial standards.

NMIT Bangalore COMED-K cutoffs may vary every year for the BE Information Science and Engineering course. According to the cutoff data released by NMIT for the year 2023, the closing rank for R1 (Round 1) for the BE ISE programme was 7,540 for the General category candidates. However, during the last round, the closing rank came down to 10,711 for the General category. NMIT COMED-K Cutoffs may vary for the reserved category candidates.

To take admission in the MBA programme, candidates must have to appear for NUCAT conducted by NITTE Meenakshi University. Besides, aspirants must also fulfil the eligibility requirements for admission.

NMIT Bangalore M.Tech admission is entrance based. Candidates who have a BTech or BE qualification with minimum 50% aggregate (candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ ST and Category-1 must obtain at least 45% aggregate) in the qualifying examination can apply for admission in the M.Tech programme. Further, candidates must appear for Karnataka PGCET or GATE (for admission through the management quota).
