The NIC enrolls nearly 80% of international students. The college is not very competitive to get selected into the university. The students are advised to apply as early as possible to avoid any last minute hassle. The upcoming application deadlines for international students are given in the table below:

To apply, the students are required to pay application fee. International students need to pay CAD 100 as NIC application fee. The North Island College acceptance rate is 80%. A high acceptance rate means the college is not very selective in its admissions. International students are required to meet the eligibility requirements in order to get selected into the university.

Yes, NIC does provide scholarships to international students. These scholarships are provided as part of tuition fee waivers. Some of the tuition fees waivers awarded to international students are:

CMC offers an acceptance rate of 85% making admissions to the college relatively easy for the students and at the same time the acceptance rate at North Island College is around 80% also making admissions for international students easy however other factors also play a major role in increasing the chances of acceptance to a university of choice including adhering to the admission requirements for international students stated by the college and submitting all the required documents such as an official academic transcript, English Language proficiency test scores, additional program-specific documents and the application fees.

Currently, NIC does not offer student accommodation on any of its campuses. Thus, international students need to arrange for accommodation before arriving in Canada. Students can either pick homestays/roomstays or go for the private rentals option. NIC recommends that students should make temporary arrangements to stay in a local motel for a week or two after they arrive.

International applicants can avail themselves of a number of scholarships such as the English Proficiency Award, University Pathway Entrance Scholarship, Language Pathway Student Awards, International Regional Award, and Emerging Leaders of the Americas Scholarship.
English Proficiency Award: Applicants from any country can avail of this award. Students are automatically considered for this one-time scholarship which is applied to the student’s tuition and credited to the student account. Applicants who have the following scores are eligible for this award:

All the courses at North Island College rae mostly taught in English. Therefore each applicant is required to submit North Island College IELTS requirement.
English Language Requirements
International students need any of these exam scores as proof of English proficiency:

North Island College application fee is CAD 100 = INR 6,159.36. The application fee can be paid through Credit card, Debit card, and Wire money transfer. Make sure to submit it otherwise the university won't consider your application. Apart from the fees applicants need to fulfill other required documents.
NIC requires the following documents:
- Copy of passport with signature page
- Recent photographs
- Official language proficiency scores
- Letters of Recommendation (LORs)
