Below are the application requirements for undergraduate students:

  1. Applicants must submit their High school transcripts and NOT directly to the NEIU. Instead, they must obtain a course-by-course evaluation.

  2. You Must send an official copy of transcripts from all secondary institutions you attended to an external transcript evaluation company.  

  3. ACT/SAT Exam: All students who have completed or taken fewer than 24 semesters must take the ACT or SAT exam. 

  4. Admission decisions are based on ACT/SAT scores and your GPA.

  5. Applicants must submit the below English Proficiency. Requirements:

Yes, Northeastern University accepts Duolingo scores for students applying to undergraduate or graduate courses. The range of score Duolingo scores needed at the undergraduate level is 130 – 140, whereas, the scores required at the graduate level vary as per programs.

No, Northeastern University is not an Ivy League school. The Ivy League school comprises eight schools namely Columbia, Princeton, Yale, Harvard, Dartmouth College, Brown, Cornell, and University of Pennsylvania. According to an unofficial source, Northeastern University is one of the highly prestigious universities both nationally and internationally. To get into MS in Engineering Management course of Northeastern University, international applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Completed online application form
  • USD 75 application fee
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Transcripts from all the institutions attended
  • Resume
  • Statement of Purpose
