The Northern Kentucky University has a main library which was established in 1975. The library is named after the first president of the university W. Frank Steely Library and contains more than 850,000 columnes and more than 18,000 bound periodicals and more than 1.5 million microforms. The Library complex is spread across 2 floors. The university also has other library which is 2 floor Chase Law Library. It contains more the 3,25,000 volumes.

- Get involved with other students at NKU. In other words, get engaged with students involved in clubs, intramural sports, D1 athletic events, volunteer groups, etc.
- Take studies seriously. Make sure that introductory classes are attended seriously as these will help in securing good marks in the exams
- Try to push yourself out of your comfort zone. Hang out with the group with whom you do not completely associate. So, the more you leave your comfort zone in the college, the more you will grow as an individual
- Interact with faculty on a daily basis. Ask

Northern Kentucky University campus size is 430 acres. It is a public comprehensive university located in a major metropolitan area. The main campus of the university is the Highland Heights Campus. It is located on US 27, seven miles of southeast of Cincinnati, Ohio. There is another campus of the university which is the Grant County Campus. This campus is located in Williamstown, KY.
