Yes Boston Uni is quite expensive for international students with a limited budget since the tuition cost for UG courses is around INR 61 L where the tuition cost for PG admission ranges between INR 19 L and INR 86 L and in addition to tuition fees, international applicants must make some additional budget for expenses such as hostel, insurance, transportation and more. The cost of living for a B Tech degree is between INR 77L and INR 83L.

Provided that the applicant meets all the other Boston University eligibility requirements, they are allowed to submit an application holding a three-year bachelor's degree from India. This degree should be accredited by India's National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a grade of 'A' or higher, or by similarly recognised bodies.
While the three-year degrees are accepted, this university generally prefers applicants holding a four-year UG degree due to it being the standard educational benchmark in the US.

With highly competitive admissions, the Boston University acceptance rate stands at 11.11% for the class of 2028, meaning out of every 100 applications, only 11 to 12 students are rolled out an offer.
