No, direct admission is not possible. Lady Hardinge Medical College offers B.Sc (Hons. ) in Nursing only to women from its College of Nursing. The entire course is divided into 8 semesters. Students are assessed through theory and practical Exams. Duration- The duration of the course is 4 years. Candidates willing to take admission in B.Sc Nursing must have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent in Science Stream from a recognised Board with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks for SC/ST & OBC candidates). You should take the decision as per your interest, comforts and future goal. Since you have already pursued B.Sc. In Nursing field, so it will be easy for you to continue your studies in the same field. If you opt for MBBS field now, all the three years of B.Sc. In Nursing will be a complete waste since MBBS is different from nursing. However, if you want to pursue MBBS then you should go for your goal. Yes, MBBS can be done after B.Sc. Nursing. It will take 5.5 years to complete MBBS course because you will have to take admission in MBBS course as a regular candidate because there is no lateral entry in MBBS course. Firstly, you are required to crack the NEET and NMAT exams for getting admission into the MD course with a duration of four years. In India, qualifying for the NEET exam is compulsory for admission in undergraduate medical courses. This is a quicker and better way to study MBBS after B.Sc. Nursing. Important information regarding KGMUs B.Sc. Nursing Admissions for the year 2022 Counseling are outlined below for students convenience. Officials will hold a counseling session for students interested in enrolling in the college. On the other hand, only those students who have passed the entrance exam will be allowed to attend the counseling session.
