Panjab University BSc seat allotment is based on the rank obtained by candidates in the PU CET UG. The seat intake for the BSc  and BSc Hons programmes offered at Panjab University through its various affiliated colleges is more than 11,000. Panjab University BSc Hons Biotechnology curriculum is divided into semester-pattern. Given below are some of the subjects included in programme:

• Biomolecules, etc.

Panjab University BSc curriculum is divided into semester-pattern. Hence, the curriculum includes subjects semester-wise. Students pursuing the BSc and BSc (Hons) programmes offered at Panjab University are required to study the following course mentioned below:

• Core Course
• Ability Enhancement Compulsory Course
• Generic Elective Course
• Skill Enhancement Course
• Discipline Specific Elective Course

The admission dates have been announced by the Panjab University for the academic year 2026. The key dates for admission to the BSc programme offered at Panjab University are mentioned below:

Panjab University declares the BSc Cutoffs after the declaration of the PU CET UG results. The cutoffs are declared separately for each BSc/ BSc Hons specialisation. Given below is the last-round cutoffs for the General All India category for various specialisation:

Panjab University BSc fees include various components such as tuition fees and, hostel fees. Candidates who get admission to the BSc or BSc Hons programme are required to pay the tuition fees which range between INR 39,645 and INR 2.87 Lacs depending upon the specialisation selected by candidates and the institute offering the programme. Apart from the tuition fees, candidates are required to pay the hostel fees of INR 17,620.

Panjab University BSc admission is entirely entrance-based for the academic year 2024. Candidates seeking admission to the programme are required to appear for the entrance examination. Panjab University accepts the rank and scores obtained by candidates in the PU CET UG. Therefore, candidates cannot get direct admission at Punjab University for BSc.
