GGDSD college offers a 3 year undergraduate B.A. (General) programme for which admission is based on Intermediate merit. After college provides Economics Honours 2 year programme for which you have atleast 50% marks in Economics in B.A. 1st year and overall admission is based on merit. So Maths is not compulsory for B.A. Economics at this college.

Hii Devi, you can pursue M.Sc. (Hons.) In Mathematics at PU Chandigarh based on your bachelor's degree merit there should be a minimum requir ement of 50% at UG and further (mathematics should be a main stream subject during your undergraduation with a amount 45+ results in it precisely.

For B.Sc courses, you have to give PU CET UG test. 20% of board marks are also added to it. Then a proper merit list is made. Moreover, result of PU CET UG is out.

To join the B.Sc (Hons) in Mathematics, English as a subject is compulsory.
1) A person joining B.Sc course must obtain at least 40 % marks aggregate of the qualifying examination
2) A student must have out of the three elective subjects offered by him/her
(excepting Anthropology)passed at least 2 Science subjects in the qualifying examination.
