MA. Clinical Psychology is master level course. It is an combination of science, theory, and clinical knowledge for the purpose of understanding, preventing, and relieving psychologically-based distress or dysfunction and to promote subjective well-being and personal development. It provide candidates the option of finishing two courses in child and adolescent therapy and two courses in psychiatric rehabilitation, which concentrates on working with adults who have serious mental problems. The course is suitable for those candidates who are interest in clinical and academic assessments in adult health psychology, family therapy settings, and psychological disorders in adults and children.

JIPMER Admissions 2023, offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses viz. MBBS MD/MS and B.Sc/M.Sc programs along with several Diploma and Certificate courses. The Institute also offers DM/M.Ch/Fellowship at the super-speciality level and a Ph.D. at the research level. For the academic year 2023, the JIPMER entrance exam is replaced with the NEET exam conducted by NTA followed by counselling. For MBBS one must have passed 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination with Physics Chemistry Biology/Biotechnology. MBBS Admission will be based on the NEET exam. For MD/MS courses, the candidates must possess an MBBS or an equivalent degree recognised by the Medical Council of India. For MS the applicants must possess BDS or an equivalent degree recognised by the Dental Council of India. Admission to all the PG will be done on the basis of the INI CET PG exam. Ph.D. degree selection is based on a written examination followed by an interaction with the Ph.D. Admission Committee.
