PGDM Eligibility

Admission to MBA/PGDM programme at VSM College is usually evaluated in terms of a few major areas. Traditionally, it is assumed that applicants need to have a Bachelor's degree from an approved university with certain minimum pass rate/CGPA which is prescribed by the university. Mean entrance examination scores, such as MAT, CAT, or similar tests, are of significant importance in the selection process. The college may also select its candidates for the program, with the selection being made on of group discussions and an individual interview conducted, the assessment will depend on the communication skills, intellectualism, and appropriateness for the program. In addition, having work experience is an added advantage, particularly for students applying for the PGDM program, as it adds to the breadth of the class participants' experience. Candidates are also asked to present a solid argument for their career goals and reason for desiring an MBA/PGDM program.

Eligibility Criteria The MBA/PGDM programmes of Global Business School (GBS) require a bachelor's degree from any recognised institute with an aggregate mark of at least 50% in case of candidates from general category and 45% for those belonging to reserved categories. Besides, valid scores obtained in any of the management entrance exams conducted by IIMs, AIMS, ICFAI, Xavier and ATMA are also essential. Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply provided they would meet the eligibility requirements by admission. The selection process followed assessment based on entrance exam scores, group discussion, and a personal interview.

The selection criteria of the K.L.E. Society's Institute of Management Studies and Research for MBA/PGDM programs are quite essential. The applicants should hold a recognised bachelor's degree from any of the statutory Universities with an aggregate of 50% marks or 45% for applicants belonging to reserved categories. Admission will be mainly on the basis of scores obtained in entrance examinations like KMAT or Karnataka PGCET. Applicants subsequently undergo a counseling process for getting seats allocated. The institute, while stressing a holistic approach to student selection, does not forget academic performance and entrance exam results in selecting its management students.

Typically, the cut-off selection criteria for the MBA/PGDM course at the Institute of Business Management and Rural Development (IMBRD) usually involve the fulfilment of academic qualification criteria; entrance examination scores; and personal interview processes. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university. There is an entrance exam to be appeared by the candidate. The list of shortlisted candidates is called for a personal interview and group discussion (if applicable).
