Candidates need to pass graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a UGC recognised university to apply for Vishwa Vishwani Institute of Systems and Management PGDM programme. The eligibility to get into the MBA/PGDM course in the Subhas Bose Institute of Hotel Management (SBIHM) is a Bachelor degree from a recognised university holding at least 50 percentage marks. Candidates are allowed to appear for entrance examinations like CAT, MAT and SBIHM's Internal Exam.

Eligibility for Admission in MBA/PGDM Program: The candidate with a Bachelor's degree in any discipline like Commerce, Management, Arts, or Engineering with an aggregate of 50% marks from any recognised Indian or Foreign University is eligible for admission. Any recognised entrance test qualified candidate is also eligible. Proper Master's degree holders are also eligible for direct admission. In addition, the institute may make extra verifications regarding the suitability of the candidates towards the academic standards and conditions of the concerned programme under consideration.

Candidates who have passed any degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for the categories reserved) are eligible to get into R.G. Kedia College of Commerce for the MBA/PGDM program. Candidates must pass the entrance exam, TSICET. Final year students can apply provisionally. The minimum age requirement is 19 years as of the date of notification, and there is no upper age limit. This means that a wide potential pool of applicants can pursue postgraduate studies in management.

The admission procedure for MBA/PGDM programme in Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of Management Studies and Research is basically a two-tier process. CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT scores are screened on a minimum percentile requirement of 40 with final selections being made after written and/or group discussion and personal interview rounds. Also, the candidates passed in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET) are also eligible to take this test. The basis of selection at AIMS – Atharva Institute of Management Studies for MBA/PGDM course:

The candidates should have appeared in any of the management entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA and secured minimum 50%ile in each of these tests. It is also necessary that the candidate has passed the bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50% marks. Thus, the selection process includes the group discussion (GD), which has 20% weightage to personal interview (PI) containing 30% weightage. The remaining 50% weightage is awarded of academic achievement of the candidate and his scores in the entrance test.
