The eligibility to apply is Graduation with minimum 50% marks from any recognised university. The selection is based on entrance merit. The institute accepts CAT/XAT/XLRI/MAT/AMAT scores for admissions. Students can apply through the official website. The institute shortlists students on the basis of application. Further, a GD & PI round is conducted.

For admission to GIBS Business School, Bangalore, students applying for both PGDM and BBA need to submit some basic documents. These generally include Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, passport-size photographs, and a valid ID proof. PGDM applicants also need to submit their graduation mark sheets or provisional certificate if they are in the final year. Other documents like transfer certificate or migration certificate may be required at the time of final admission.

Yeah, GIBS does have a management quota, but it's not like how people imagine it. It's basically an alternate route for students who may not have strong entrance scores but are still genuinely interested and capable. The process is almost the same — you still have to go through interviews, screening, and discussions.

One thing I noticed as a student is that GIBS doesn't compromise on the quality part just because someone comes through management quota. XLRI Delhi shortlists candidates for PGDM programme based on their scores in CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, CMAT, etc. Below are the steps to get admission in PGDM IEV:

Round-1: Application Screening

Round-2: SOP (Assessment of entrepreneurial aspirations, business vision, and problem-solving approach) and 5-Minute Video Submission (Comprehensive Business Plan- Ideation/ MVP/ Traction)

Round-3: Interview

The final selection is done based on performance of aspirants in all the rounds.
