No, PhD students aren't exempt from UGC-NET or CSIR-NET. To get admission in a PhD course, UGC is requesting institutions to integrate NET scores.

Yes, DYPDPU School of Liberal Arts offers PhD in Psychology for 36 months at the doctoral level. Admission to PhD programme is based on UGC-NET, SET, SLET or PET scores of the candidates. Those who have completed a master's degree or equivalent in Psychology or a closely related field e.g., Clinical Psychology, Applied Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Organisational Psychology, etc.) with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for reserved category) are eligible to apply for the PhD course.

There is a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate for SC/ ST category candidates.

You should refer to the BHU Ph.D. Information Bulletin 2024–25, which outlines eligibility, disciplines, and exam structure including syllabus details for RET (Research Entrance Test) for each department, including Computer Science.

Since you have a alid GATE score so you are exempted from PET which is the test conducted by the university for PhD admissions, you will directly sit in the interview and then if you are selected you get admitted to PhD in CSMU

For getting selected in PhD course at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College, candidates must appear for the UGC NET exam and acheive a valid and required aggregate in the same. They must also submit the scorecard for the same to apply for and confirm admission in the PhD course. Additionally, candidates must esnure fulfilling the eligibility criteria before applying for admission at RMVCC.

Yes, PhD course is available at Dr. DY Patil Dnyan Prasad University School of Hospitality & Tourism. The university offers PhD courses at the doctoral level. Candidate must meet the eligibility criteria to enrol for the PhD course admission set by the college. Aspirants must pass PG or equivalent in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, or any related stream. Dr. DY PDPUSHT's admission process is entrance-based.

A PG Diploma programme would not be enough to pursue a PhD in Environmental Law. The basic eligibility for a PhD programme is to have a PG degree from a UGC-approved university. Though, some universities can accept a PG Diploma if it is recognised by AIU and you meet the minimum marks and other criteria.

The usual stipend is 8,000 rupees per month under the UGC Non-NET Fellowship. Some universities may offer a bit more through their own internal fellowships, but it depends on the institution and available funding. Private or research-focused universities sometimes provide higher stipends, but that's not very common. So, unless you're funded through a project or internal scheme, INR 8,000/month is the standard.
