Yes, Atria University does provide PhD courses in three specialisations; Digital Transformation, Energy Sciences, and Life Sciences. Admission to these courses are done on the basis of fulfilment of the preset criteria. The basic eligibility is to pass ME/ M.Tech or MS in CS/ IT with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks. Those who have valid UGC-NET or DST-Inspire scores would be given preference. Interested students must submit their CV along with three references.

Candidates who have passed a master's degree or a professional degree equivalent to it with at least 55% aggregate or its equivalent can apply for the PhD course at School of Management, PDEU. There is a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate for SC / ST / OBC (non-creamy layer) / differently-abled candidates & other categories of candidates as per the decisions of the Commission from time to time.
For PhD in Management, MBA/ MTech/ ME/ ACA/ AIC/ WA/ ACS level or its equivalent as recognised by UGC / AICTE in appropriate area is required.

School of Management, PDEU selects candidates for PhD programme based on Written Aptitude Test conducted by the school. WAT shall consist of 50% weightage on research methodology and 50% weightage on subject specific questions. Aspirants with 50% or more in WAT are further required to appear for personal interview or viva-voce. 70% weightage is given to entrance test and 30% to performance of the aspirants in the personal interview round for admission.

The applications forms are first screened by the Committee on Postgraduate Programmes (CPGP) and shortlisted applicants are then called for an entrance test followed by an interview.
