You can do Pharma.D after B.Pharma. It is called as Pharma.D (PB) course. PB means post bacculerate. Those who have completed B.Pharma can get direct admission to fourth year Pharma.D. Many colleges that have Pharma.D course have this course too. After B.Pharma, 3-year Pharma.D (PB), 2 years academic and 1 year internship. Internship will give you practical exposure of what you have studied. There will be ward rounds with doctors and you will know how to apply for pharmacology knowledge in terms of treatment.

Technically both have the equal value from government. Job point of view, but private companies prefers to take regular Diploma holders in place of distance students. Further campus placement opportunities are not available with distance learning students. Hence prefer to study the Diploma in pharmacy in regular mode.
