Pharm.D is a six-year professional programme combining five years of academic study with one year of clinical internship. It focuses on clinical pharmacy, therapeutics, drug interactions, and hospital pharmacy training. The course is recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India and equips graduates to work as clinical pharmacists in hospitals or pharmaceutical industries. While Pharm.D holders use the “Dr.” prefix professionally due to their clinical expertise, it is not equivalent to an MBBS degree. Career paths include working in hospital pharmacies, pharmacovigilance, and pursuing research or higher studies in healthcare fields.

Candidates who have completed Class 12 with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually are eligible to apply for BPharm at  ICFAI University Jaipur. Final year students applying for this course need to complete their examinations including practical/ viva, assigments before the deadline to apply for BPharm. Such applicants also need to produce a certificate at the time of admission.

The total tuition fees is INR 2.3 lakh - INR 3.8 lakh at Kurukshetra University for BPharm. Once selected, candidates can pay the course fees to confirm their seat.

BPharma programme at Biyani Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences requires four years of course duration and majors on pharmaceutics, pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, and healthcare. It grooms students to work in drug industries, research institutes and regulatory boards.

Yes, the BPharma programme at Biyani Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences primarily admits students through the Entrance test conducted by the Rajasthan University of health sciences, Jaipur (RCA). Only a few direct admissions are allowed under the management quota.

KLE Academy, Belagavi offers a 2-year D.Pharm programme that is approved by the PCI, AICTE, and NBA. Candidates must have 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Math and must be at least 17 years of age. Admission through KAHER-AIET is required. The annual fees is around INR 75,500. Classes are conducted at the KLE College of Pharmacy.
