There are many jobs opportunities in various areas, where you can try, or if you are willing to pursue higher degrees, then you can go for M.Sc. You can even prepare for IIT JAM exam which is held for M.Sc. Admission in top colleges of India such as IITs, NIT's, etc.

But there are good government engineering colleges in all the states for which eligibility has been set at around 50% by most of the states.
