Yes, as you have queried, Public Universities in Germany do not charge any tuition fees. However, one may have to pay a token towards administrative charge. If you wish to pursue M.Sc from government institutes, why not you appear in IIT JAM exam? The IIT JAM exam is one of the prestigious exams of India which is conducted every year for M.Sc. Admissions in top colleges like IITs, NITs, IISc, etc. This exam is conducted in seven subjects including Physics, so if you wish to do M.Sc. In Physics then you should prepare for JAM Physics subject. To clear this exam, you need to prepare well with a proper study plan. In Madras Christian College fees structure for M.Sc. Physics is INR 50,000 for 1st semester and as the semesters go on the fee decreases by INR 5000. In odd semesters the fees is bit higher than even semesters. Quite expensive when compared with other colleges. The fees for odd semesters are around INR 40,000 and for even semesters is INR 30,000.
