For 2022, the cut off was 2925 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Engineering Physics in IIT Delhi. In addition, for the female candidates of the General category under All India quota, 6738 was the closing rank. Further, the BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Students were advised to check important reference books while preparing for Assam CEE 2023. This allowed the students to understand the topics and concepts of Physics well and helped in the entrance examination. Assam CEE 2023 Physics syllabus consists of the topics from both 11th and 12th standard qualifying examination. Candidates could check the previous year question papers to know the topics that had more weightage and were likely to be repeated. The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 19155 and closing rank was 39174. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 26823 and 74273. Admission to Integrated B.Sc. + M.Sc. in Physics in NIT Rourkela - National Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Engineering Physics at IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category are - 2648 for OBC, 1764 for SC, 894 for ST, 1062 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.
