It is absolutely an outstanding college because of faculty, placements, campus environment, etc.

Placements: In our batch, there were 60 students, and almost every student got placements. I am proud that the placement rate is 100% here. Many dream companies visit our college like Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Apple and many more. The average salary package offered is about 10 LPA in these companies. Many students also do internships in these companies.

Infrastructure: The classrooms here are completely wi-Fi equipped. Facilities and infrastructure are outstanding. In the library, there is a good collection of books. There are Wi-Fi equipped hostels with good well-spaced rooms and other facilities. Along with that, there are good sports grounds like cricket ground, football ground indoor badminton court, basketball court and volleyball court with good players who have played at state and national level sports also. Our college organises a good sports event.

Faculty: All the teachers here are very knowledgeable and have a very friendly nature with students. We enjoyed our college life very well. All the courses are up to date. Faculty members check students and make them aware of the new technology and how to learn them. Various courses are available along with the study materials to make students aware and keep themselves updated for placement activities. Our college makes students more practical.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue M.Sc in physics. Ultimately, my dream is to join ISRO. The best thing about this course is that physics is a very interesting subject and very practical.

A dream college for every student to join and study.

Placements: 100 percent placement with many dream companies visiting our college like Google, Microsoft and many others with average package of around 10 Lac per annum also. People do internship in companies like amazon, microsoft and other companies. Top roles offered are software engineer.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi equipped hostels with good well spaced rooms and other facilities along with good sports grounds like cricket ground, football ground indoor badminton court, basketball court and volleyball court with good players who have played states and nationals also. Have a good sports event.

Faculty: All the courses are up to date and faculty keeps a track and makes student aware about the new technology and how to learn and the various courses available along with the study material to make students aware and keep them updated for the placement activity .

What if I don't have B.Sc in physics and without having it in class 12th? Am I eligible for M.Sc physics after engineering?

No, you are definitely not eligible. You have to have Physics for 4 semester and Mathematics for 2nd semester in B.Sc. There is no restrictions on +2 subjects.

Yes, you can but I'll suggest you to go for M.Tech instead of M.Sc physics at IIT Kanpur.

If you consider long-term career opportunities, IITs provide wonderful opportunities for PhD.Also, some research schools in Europe and certain universities abroad hire IIT M.Sc students for a Ph.D position based on interviews and GPA(sometimes, research experience plays a more important role).
