There are many opportunities available for M.Sc physics in technical field. you can work as Observations scientist, Assitant Scientist, Quality control Manager, Laboratory technician, School Science Technician or Research Analyst in any government or private institutions.
Private Sector Jobs after M.Sc Physics:
There are many opportunities available in IT Field for Physics graduates. many IT companies such as Infosys, Wipro and CTS are recruiting M.Sc Physics graduates for software jobs. You can also get jobs in Energy Plants, Automobile Industry.

If you are only concerned about placement then go for IIT mandi CS, but if you are interested in other things and your overall development because at last money is not what you want, go for Physics, IIT delhi or Mech, IIT roorkee.

Hi,
Yes and depends on your knowledge on the subject and demonstration of interests, taking the GRE alone will not guarantee an admission. Check with the universities first, some universities won't accept while some may. Pre-requisite courses may be required.
