Both colleges accept the IIT JAM entrance exam, followed by CCMN counselling for the admission to the MSc courses. NIT Warangal last round cutoff 2024 for MSc in Engineering Physics stood at 1271. Similarly, the NIT Rourkela cutoff 2024 for MSc in Physics was 949 for the General AI category students.

National Institute of Technology Surathkal and National Institute of Technology Rourkela are the two prominent colleges for MSc admissions. Both colleges accept IIT JAM scores, followed by CCMN counselling for MSc admission. NIT Surathkal CCMN cutoff 2025 has been released for Round 1, wherein the closing rank for MSc in Physics was 920 for the General AI quota. Similarly, for NIT Rourkela, the cutoff rank stood at 755.

The CUET PG Cut Off for Central University of Hyderabad 2024 table does not specifically mention the cutoff for Integrated M.Sc. in Physics. However, it does provide information on the cutoff ranges for other courses, such as MSc Neural and Cognitive Sciences (190-240), MSc Animal Biology and Biotechnology (150-200), and Int.MSc./PhD. Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (170 - 210).
For comparison, the cutoff for M.Sc. in Mathematics at University of Hyderabad in 2021 was 148 for the General category. However, please note that this is a different course and may not be directly applicable to Integrated M.Sc. in Physics.
