Answer should have 3 decimals.

(2)  2.38 * 1.0 = 2.38 -> answer should have 2 significant digits

(3)   8 . 0 5 3 . 1 = 2 . 5 9 2 . 6  answer should have 2SD

(4)  1.11 - 0.1 = 1.01  1.0 but is an intermediate step so we keep 1 digit extra. 1.01 * 9.0 = 9.09  9.1 -> both 1.01 and 9.0 have 2SD

L = r * m v

= ( 3 i ^ j ^ ) * ( 3 j ^ + k ^ )

= 9 k ^ + 3 ( j ^ ) i ^

= i ^ 3 j ^ + 9 k ^

| L | = 1 + 9 + 8 1 = 9 1

m = 0.3g density,   ρ ( b a l l ) = 8 g / c c                   V = m ρ = 0 . 3 8 c c

ρ g l y c e r e n e = 1 . 3 g / c c = 1 . 3 * 1 0 3 k g / m 3

Fv + FB = mg.

Þ Fv = mg – FB = .3 * 10-3 * 10 – 1.3 *  0 . 3 8 * 1 0 6 * 1 0 * 1 0 3

we know, = λ d μ = C V = C υ λ

  λ 1 = C μ 1 υ 1 [with change in medium frequency remain constant]

λ 2 = C μ 2 υ 2

λ 2 λ 1 = μ 1 μ 2 = 5 7 λ 2 = 5 7 λ 1

θ 1 = λ 1 d 1

2= λ 2 d 2

θ 2 θ 1 = λ 2 λ 1 [ ? d 1 = d 2 ]

2 = 5 7 * θ 1

θ 2 = 5 7 * 0 . 3 5
