To become a Physiotherapist after class 12, students must pursue a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy followed by a master's degree or postgraduate Diploma. BPT & B.Sc. Physiotherapy are the two popular Physiotherapy courses after the 12th. In order to apply for BPT programs, you will have to pass your 10+2 with at least 50 percent marks with Physics Chemistry and Biology as the compulsory subject. Also, you will have to qualify entrance exams for admission to BPT programs I. e. Common Entrance Test (CET), GGSIPU CET, etc. However, you can apply for B.Sc.

Applicants should normally have at least an upper second class honours degree completed in the last five years in the cognate subjects of Biological or Behavioural Science, Sports Science or a Health related profession. Your first degree must also have had a research training component. NEET PG score is mandatory for MPT admission
Masters degrees in Physiotherapy equip postgraduates with the skills to plan and execute courses of treatment to remedy physical dysfunction, relieve pain and prevent further disability. Related postgraduate specialisms include Manipulative Physiotherapy and Sports Physiotherapy.

NEET is not required for pursuing BPT in India. One has to be atleast of 17 years of age with Science in 12 with Biology as a compulsory subject and at least 50percent marks in each subject. For majority of the programs, admission is done through National level entrance examination conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology formerly known as SRM University or authorized /statutory boards or agencies. For few programs admission is done directly. The SRM University conducts their own entrance exams for Direct Admission in SRM University 2023 Engineering and Management Courses I. e. SRMJEEE and SRMCAT respectively.
