NEET is not required for pursuing BPT in India. One has to be atleast of 17 years of age with Science in 12 with Biology as a compulsory subject and at least 50percent marks in each subject. After the 12th grade students can enroll in a 4.5 year undergraduate degree in physiotherapy that focuses on the analysis and functioning of the body. Although the duration is 4.5 years it completely depends on you how well you perform.

1. Candidates should possess a BPT Degree awarded by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R Medical University or any other University recognised as equivalent.
2. Candidates with service obligation will need to have completed the same by 01/09/2023.
3. A candidate who has already completed or acquired a Postgraduate Degree in any specialty in MPT or is undergoing a Postgraduate course in Physiotherapy in any specialty is ineligible to apply for MPT Degree
