There is a ranking system in flight schools, as it is all flight schools must follow certain standards which they do. So you can browse through various flying school website to check the cost, facilities, services, etc.

To become a commercial pilot :
* You need to first possess a Student Pilot License. You must be over 17 years of age and have completed 12th in Science (Physics and Mathematics) with 50%.
* Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
* You need to register at a flying club which is recognized by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India.

Eligibility criteria to join Flying training is as follows:
(a) Class XII under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in Mathematics and Physics.
(b) Minimum 16 years of age to be eligible for a Private Pilot License and 17 for a Commercial Pilot License.

The job prospects in this section are immense with the advent of privatization in this industry. The job opportunities exist in both the government as well as private sectors. Major opportunities come up regularly in Government owned airlines, international and as well as private airlines. They have opportunity also where in large business houses have their own aircrafts.

No, I do not think you will be allowed to do another course side by side when you are engaged with pilot training, as it is not allowed, and has legal implications. Moreover, you won't have time to do another course. Rather, you should focus on devoting all your time to pilot training course as there will be a lot of responsibility on your shoulders and you cannot afford to be casual or have your focus shift to some other course.

The standard of pilot training overseas will be of a higher grade. The facilities and maintenance of aircraft will be of world class. Training will be given by experienced and competent flight instructors. The CPL training has been integrated with Multi Engine training. Instrument flying provided will be of the highest standard. The training is based on DGCA standard and requirement. The students trained abroad can easily pass the DGCA conversion examination.
