Hello Muhammad,
Your query is a little cryptic one. If you had written in details, it would have been better answered then. Of course, I will still try to answer, as the way I have understood your query. Perhaps what you are saying is that, after completing your 3 years of study in a Polytechnic College doing Diploma in mechanical engineering you are no more interested in further studies, but is looking for jobs. Hello, A Polytechnic engineering Diploma can not get direct admission in Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT-Nagpur) in B.Tech/B.Arch UG courses. The admission in NITs in undergraduate courses are based on JEE Main ranks. Further a candidate must have scores 75% aggregate marks at 12th level or should have fallen in top 20 percentile of respective state.

Hello Geddam Saheb,
It's very nice to see your interest in your son's career. Actually it's very simple. He has to take interest in studies and clear his Diploma exam with good marks. In fact at least 75% since this is minimum required. Then he had to prepare for JEE Mains and after passing it, prepare for JEE Advanced. Scoring good marks is must since then only he will be assured of admission.
Best regards.

Hello, I think, it is nearly impossible to change college as well as trade. If you want to change both then try from the first with first year again based on 10th marks.
Thank you!

So, what I have understood from your question is that, you have completed your Polytechnic and your result is awaited. If this is the case then you are eligible for giving JEE Mains examination, You will get provisional admission which will be confirmed once you get your 12th result.
