The application process for admission in the Polytechnic or Diploma in engineering programme at Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) generally concludes in April. Candidates willing to be admitted to the Diploma in engineering course at DEI must have passed class 10 or class 12 with a minimum of 55% aggregate.

DEI Polytechnic admissions are merit-based. Candidates having good academic records have higher chances of getting a good domain during the counselling round, followed by document verification and fee payment.

If you are serious about getting admission to a Polytechnic college for CSE, I recommend that you apply to a variety of colleges. This will give you a better chance of getting admission. You should also start preparing for the state-level Polytechnic entrance exam as soon as possible. The state-level Polytechnic entrance exam is a separate entrance exam that is conducted by each state for admission to Polytechnic colleges in that state.

In general ACC programs are designed for students who are typically in high school or equivalent levels of education. However some ACC programs might have different age and educational requirements.

Since you mentioned that you have completed a three-year Polytechnic Diploma it's possible that you may still be eligible to join the ACC especially if you are within the specified age range.

The authorities have closed the JEECUP 2025 counselling choice filling process online for Round 3. After checking the result, the candidates were able to fill out their choice of colleges and courses in the order of preference. From the provided online list, the candidates had to select the preferred courses and colleges and submit it before the final dat. It is to be noted that the selection had to be done strictly in the order of preference since it will be considered during allotment.
