To fill the PU CET UG 2026 application form, candidates will need to follow these steps:

1. Visit the official PU CET website.
2. Click on the "Apply Now" button.
3. Register for the exam by providing your basic details, such as your name, email ID, and phone number.
4. Login to your account and pay the application fee through online mode.
5. Fill in the application form carefully, providing all the required information, such as your personal details, academic qualifications, and course preferences.
6. Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature in the specified format.
7. Review your application form carefully and click on the "Submit" button.

Once you have submitted your application form, you will receive a confirmation email. You can also download a copy of your application form for your reference.

There is no update on PU CET (UG) 2024 exam so far. However following the previous year schedule of PU CET (UG) examination, it is anticipated that the exam notification will be released in the first of March, 2024.  

Candidates can expect that the PU CET (UG) 2024 exam notification will contain the following details:

• Important Dates: This will include key deadlines like application form availability, registration start and end dates, exam date, result declaration date, and counseling schedule.
• Eligibility Criteria: This section will outline the academic qualifications, age limit, and other requirements for applying to various programs offered by SHUATS.
• Exam Pattern: This will explain the format of the entrance exam, including the number of sections, type of questions (MCQ, subjective, etc.), number of questions, and marking scheme.
• Syllabus: The notification might provide a brief overview of the topics covered in the exam or direct you to a separate source for the detailed syllabus.
• Application Process: This will explain how to apply for the exam, including details about online and offline application procedures, application fee, and documents required.

The eligibility criteria for admission in OPEN quota (Non-PU quota) seats through PUMDET is as follows:

• The candidate must have passed (not before 2024) or appeared in B.A. (Hons/ Major)/ B.Sc. (Hons/ Major) examination in 2024 from any recognised University.
• Candidates, who have appeared for their B.A. (Hons/ Major)/B.Sc. (Hons/ Major) examination and have their final results at the time of counselling will have to mandatorily produce all original mark sheets/ grade cards of all semester/ annual examinations passed at the Bachelor’s level. Such candidates must fulfill the academic eligibility norms for their applied courses tabled below for admission.
• Candidates, who have appeared for their final B.A. (Hons/ Major)/ B.Sc. (Hons/ Major) examination, but do not have their final results at the time of counselling, will be given provisional admission, on the basis of production of their mark sheets/ grade cards of all previous semester/annual examinations at their Bachelor’s level.
• However, they must submit their final mark sheet by the mentioned date, demonstrating that they fulfil the minimum conditions of eligibility tabled below, failing which their admission will stand cancelled. Therefore, the candidate must secure the minimum required percentage of marks/ CGPA in Hons/ Major subject as per the following table in his/ her B.A. (Hons/ Major)/ B.Sc. (Hons/ Major) examination for final and confirmed admission.
