Admission in all categories shall be made subject to fulfilment of the eligibility conditions and in accordance with the provisions contained in the Handbook of Information and Rules for Admission, 2026.
1) 53.5% of seats in each course shall be treated as belonging to the General Category.
2) 46.5% of seats shall be treated as belonging to the Reserved Category, as per the details given below:
(i) 15% for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes.
(ii) 7.5% for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes.
(iii) 5% for candidates belonging to the Backward Classes

Here we will discuss who all are ineligible to appear in PU CET (UG) 2026 examination:
- The candidates who have passed/appeared in 10+2 Examinations of Mahila Gram Vidyapith, Allahabad are ineligible to appear in the PU CET (UG) Entrance Test, as this institution has been derecognised by Panjab University, Chandigarh. The examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Delhi, included in the booklet of recognised exams, has also been deleted from the Booklet.
