The diagnosis and treatment of speech, language and hearing impairments are the main goals of PGIMER, Chandigarh four-year undergraduate Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) program. Clinical internships, hands-on training, and theoretical study are all included in the course. PGIMER administers an entrance exam for enrollment in the BASLP course. A minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English must be earned in the 12th grade in order to be eligible. The entrance exam evaluates general knowledge as well as understanding of physics, chemistry, and biology. Graduates can find employment in clinics, hospitals, and rehabilitation facilities as audiologists, speech therapists, or clinicians.
