Yes, without the PGIMER BSc nursing admit card, entry to examination hall is restricted. It acts as a proof of verification for the candidate appearing in the exam. Important details printed on the admit card/hall ticket are: Candidate’s name, Exam date and timings, Date of Birth of the candidate, Category (Gen/SC/ST), Candidate’s photograph and signature, Address of the exam centre, and exam day instructions for the candidate.

Candidates who will fill the PGIMER BSc Nursing application form 2026 successfully will be issued PGIMER BSc Nursing admit card. Candidates failing to carry the admit card to the exam centre will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. The PGIMER BSc Nursing admit card for the BSc Nursing programmes will be issued on on the pre-specified date as released by PGIMER Chandigarh

No, one cannot take admission to any other university or institution by clearing the PGIMER BSc Nursing exam as no other institute or university accepts PGIMER BSc Nursing scores. Selected candidates will be invited for the counselling process after the exam. No individual intimation is sent to unselected candidates, and no correspondence on the subject is entertained.

There are very rare cases of rejection of the PGIMER BSc Nursing application form. Applicants have to provide all the details asked to fill in the application form true to their knowledge and most importantly they should ensure they submit the application fee before the stipulated deadline of submission. However, as per the guideline issued in the prospectus, all claims made in the application must be supported with documentary proof.

A self-attested copy of candidate’s photograph, signature, passing certificates of the qualifying exam, mark sheet of the qualifying exam, proof of age certificate, category certificate (if any) will be required to fill the PGIMER BSc Nursing application form successfully. As per the guideline issued, incomplete applications will not be considered, and no correspondence will be entertained in this matter. All particulars in the application form must be entered carefully. All claims made in the application must be supported with documentary proof.

Yes, PGIMER BSc Nursing application forms will be available on the official website of the institute, tentatively from March or April 2026. Applicants should indicate his/her choice of city of examination at the time of filling the online application form. After the test centre is allotted based on the choice of the applicant, it will not be changed. Any request in this regard will not be entertained. Please take a printout of the application form for future reference.

There are a total of 62 seats in the PGIMER BSc nursing (Hons.) programme. General category candidates have 22 seats, SC category candidates have 07 seats, ST category candidates have 04 seats, OBC category candidates have 14 seats, and PwBD category candidates have 03 seats in all. Candidates having Color blindness are eligible provided that their color blindness can be corrected with contact lens and spectacles worn by such candidates. So, the number of seats mentioned for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) will be adjusted against the category to which he / she belongs.

As per the guidelines issued by the exam conducting body, students must not be more than 25 years of age and should not be less than 17 years on 1st September, 2026. Hence, applicants born after 01.09.2008 and before 01.09.2000 are not eligible to apply for the course. For the BSc Nursing course (4 years), only FEMALE students are eligible to apply within this age bracket.

There are a total of 93 seats in the PGIMER BSc nursing (Hons.) programme. General category candidates have 47 seats, SC category candidates have 14 seats, ST category candidates have 07 seats, OBC category candidates have 25 seats, and PwBD category candidates have 5 seats in all. It is a 4 year course. Please note that reservation to PwBD candidates is given on horizontal basis and as per Govt. of India guidelines revised from time to time. So, the number of seats mentioned for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) will be adjusted against the category to which he / she belongs.
