PGIMER BSc Nursing score will be based on the total marks scored by the candidate across all the sections. There will be five sections in the PGIMER BSc Nursing question paper for the BSc (Hons) programme. These are the weightage: Physics (20 marks), Logical & Quantitative Reasoning (10 marks), Chemistry (20 marks), Biology (40 marks), English & Comprehension (10 marks).

Applicants who appear in the PGIMER BSc Nursing exam and qualify for it will be able to check their names in the merit list. The PGIMER BSc Nursing 2026 result/scorecard will comprise details such as the candidate's name, roll number, date of birth, parents' names, category, nationality, marks secured in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, total marks obtained, All India Rank (AIR), category rank, and PGIMER BSc Nursing cutoff score.

PGIMER Chandigarh, the organizing body of the entrance exam, will release the Cutoff list after the announcement of the result. The applicants who will be able to score the qualifying marks as per the cutoff will be considered qualified. The qualifying status of the candidates will be mentioned on the PGIMER BSc Nursing result.

Admission to PG courses such as MD/ MS/ M.Ch/ DM at PGIMER Chandigarh is done on the basis of score in INI CET followed by counseling.For Medical Sciences: MBBS/MDS/Master of Physio-therapy with minimum 55% aggregate marks or MD/MS in the subject concerned or Diplomate of National Board of Examination.PGIMER Eligibility for M.Sc.

 

Aspirants should have completed a B.Sc. (in Medical Laboratory Technology, Nursing) or Bachelor of Physiotherapy from an institution or a university recognised by the Government of India. A minimum of 55% aggregate in graduation is mandatory for the candidates to be eligible to apply.

Based on the available data and resources, PGIMER Chandigarh accepts the "Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET)" as the primary entrance exam for admission. To be admitted at PGIMER, candidates have to qualify for the INI CET. While NEET is a prerequisite for the MBBA programme in the majority of medical institutes in India, it is not given that much importance in PGIMER.
