Candidates who have completed Bachelors degree in Nursing or any other medical course with one subject as psychology and have got a minimum of 50% marks or above from a recognised university or college are also eligible for the course

Since you are from English, you have to study psychology and work hard. There will be an entrance for admission to M.A. Psychology in government colleges mainly. You can join as you clear the entrance.

The paper has some basic questions on-
1. Logical Reasoning.
2. Some basic maths.
3. General Knowledge about geography, history, political Science and psychology since it is a common paper for all of the above.
4. English.
5. Current Affairs

Yes, you can apply for admission.
However, you can't go for msc psychology but MA is available.
Psychology Eligibility.(Psychology) degree course. Some of the very reputed universities and institutes demand a minimum of 45-50% marks in graduation as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this course and some also conduct entrance examination to get admission to their M.A. (Psychology) degree course.
