There are 85 Psychology colleges in Tamil Nadu. Students can take admission in 53 private colleges and 18 government colleges, where they can study Psychology at the UG, PG, and doctoral levels.

Students should refer to the following books when studying for CUET PG Psychology. Students learning Introduction to Psychology should use the books written by Ciccarelli or Baron. Read the book written by Baron Robert to study Social Psychology. All students should utilize Theories of Personality by Bem P Allen and Human Development by Laura Berk and Bio-Psychology by James W. Kalat. The study of Cognitive Psychology should include Robinson-Riegler as a primary source while Quinn McNemar or Minium provide the best literature for Statistics and Lewin & Fox serve as research methodology books. It's possible that SRM offers BA in Psychology under a different name (e.g., Applied Psychology, or it might be a specialisation within another program). Also, their course offerings can change.
