For BA Psychology, the best domain subject to choose depends on the admission criteria of the university you're applying to. Generally, psychology falls under the humanities stream, so you should select subjects related to social sciences. If you're applying through CUET (Common University Entrance Test) in India, you can consider the following domain subjects:

Psychology (if available)

Biology (since psychology has biological aspects)

Sociology

Political Science

English (some universities require proficiency in English)

After passing 10th grade, earning a Diploma in psychology usually needs a higher secondary qualification (12th grade) as the base eligibility requirement. Although some centers may provide preliminary courses or certification courses in relation to psychology, official Diploma programs usually need students to pass 12th grade first.

Common Diploma courses offered after 12th are specializations such as Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, and Applied Psychology. These courses impart basic knowledge of psychological theories and practices to ready students for advanced studies or a career in related fields of psychology.
