Yes, GRE is mandatory and also majority of the public health programs require work experience. Please visit university websites, you must email the universities before applying. Your academic grades, internship, LOR and SOP will also be very important.

Through your profile, you should demonstrate sufficient research work/ interests, any kind of work experience in hospitals, etc. You must basically have the relevant background. A year of full time experience in the health sector will help.
